Chelmsford Theatre Studio

Our intimate and flexible black box style theatre, Chelmsford Theatre Studio seats up to 166, with a capacity of 200 for a flat floor gig. In the Studio we present a programme of smaller scale professional touring theatre, live music, dance, live screenings and lunchtime concerts.

The retractable seating allows for varied seating configurations including standing, cabaret and immersive environments. The space is also available for hire for workshops, lectures, conferences and exhibitions.
