If you choose E-tickets they will be sent as an attachment to the email address of the account holder. You can print these tickets at home to bring along or present them on your phone/tablet device. If printed, the barcode on your E-ticket must be clearly visible for scanning.

If you do not choose an E-ticket and would prefer to have your tickets posted there is a charge of £2, unless you are a member. Tickets purchased within 5 working days of the performance will not be posted but can be emailed to you as an E-ticket or collected from the Box Office.

Our Access Scheme gives you the opportunity to tell us about any access needs you have, so that we can best accommodate your visit and ensure you have an enjoyable experience. It is free to join and designed to make it easier to book accessible seats and to help our staff deliver the best possible standard of service to you.

General admission refers to areas that are not assigned or reserved and are occupied on a first-come, first-served basis. When purchasing tickets for a general admission event, you may be quoted row and seat numbers, however these are for inventory purposes only and do not reflect any actual seating location.

Some shows give an approximate running time and when available this can be found on the show page. All films have running times, but this does not include live performance trailers. Running times are, however, given as a rough guide but due to the nature of live performance they cannot always be accurate.

At times it is necessary to make changes to the published programme. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but due to the nature of the performing arts industry these changes are often unavoidable.

We do not allow video or photography for most of our shows, however there are a few occasions when it is allowed, and this will be advised as part of the show.

If you are seen to be taking unauthorised video or photography you will be asked to stop by a member of staff.

You can view the seating plans here:

The seating plans may vary on some performances.

Booster seats are available free of charge during events for young children and can be picked up at the entrance to the auditorium before the event starts.

If you arrive late for the start of a performance or after an interval we appreciate that you will want to take your seat as soon as possible. We will do everything possible to assist. To limit disturbance to fellow audience members and performers we may have to ask you to wait until a suitable break in the performance. Occasionally this may not be possible once the performance has started.

Discounts and offers are available on some events for groups of ten or more and the details of the offer will be listed on the key information section of the event page. For schools bookings please contact our Box Office team at boxoffice@chelmsford.gov.uk or call 01245 606 505.
