Whether you're popping in for a coffee, enjoying a pre-show meal or grabbing an interval drink, our café and bars have something for everyone.
Opening Hours
Our café is open Monday to Saturday from 10am. On performance evenings, the theatre bar and balcony bar open 1 hour before curtain up and during the interval. The sweet and ice cream bar is available during intervals.
Getting Here
Chelmsford Theatre is located on Fairfield Road, Chelmsford CM1 1JG. We are a 10-minute walk from Chelmsford station, with several car parks nearby.
Food & Drink
Our café serves freshly made sandwiches, cakes, hot and cold drinks throughout the day. The theatre bar offers a full range of alcoholic and soft drinks, and you can pre-order interval drinks to avoid the queue.
